Souls Harbor Quartet
Souls Harbor Quartet started as part of a support group for a youth based organization that began in 1999. The group played in area churches to raise money to put on youth rallies for the organization. Teenagers as well as adults responded to the presentation of Jesus Christ through their music. After the youth organization dissolved the group decided to stay together. Some of the members have changed since the beginning, but the goal is still the same, to reach the lost for Christ. We sing at Churches, Benefits, Family Reunions, etc... We don't put a price on our singings we go just to spread the Gospel of Christ to all who will listen. We put our faith in God to provide our needs.
Robert Edens, Sr.
Robert resides in Seneca, South Carolina with his wife, Mira (Sissy), and their three children. He has been singing in local churches since 1985. He was an Asst. Minister Minister of Music for a year in a local church and then became the Minister of Music for two years. He is a charter member of Souls Harbor Quartet. Singing lead and harmony parts. Robert has many other duties. Robert schedules the bookings for the group and takes care of the equipment and trailer. His favorite groups are The Singing Christians, Rejoice, Fourfold, The Ruppes, and The McKameys. He enjoys singing for the Lord and prays that his singing will be a blessing to someone so that they may be drawn closer to the Lord. Robert is a member of and attends Souls Harbor Baptist Church in Westminster, SC.
Michael & Dawn Smith
Michael & Dawn reside in Long Creek, South Carolina with their daughter, Julie. Dawn sings soprano and harmony with the group as well as plays the keyboard. Michael plays the electronic drums for the group. Dawn sings the high parts and brings completeness to the groups sound. Michael and Dawn have sung on Radio and Television with other groups and are a great joy to be around. Some of the artists they enjoy listening to are The Crabb Family, Michael W. Smith, Avalon, Mercy Me, Karen Peck, and Jeff and Sheri Easter. Their greatest desire is to be just like Jesus, for in the back of their minds they know that their little girl wants to be just like them. Michael and Dawn are members of and attend Welcome Baptist Church in Westminster, SC.
Tim Eye
Tim resides in Seneca, South Carolina with his wife, Jeanne, and stepson, Andrew. He has been a born again Christian since August, 1989. He has sung in several churches in different states while visiting. Tim enjoys singing for the Lord and is very thankful for the gift that God has blessed him with. He enjoys listening to southern gospel and bluegrass gospel music. Some of Tim's favorite groups are The Singing Christians, Mercy Tree, The Campbells and Redeemed Trio. Tim and his family have been attending Souls Harbor Baptist Church, Westminster, SC since November, 2001 and have been members since 2002. Tim started singing bass and anywhere else he could find a spot with Souls Harbor Quartet in August, 2004. He enjoys playing the guitar and singing for the Lord and prays that someone's heart might be touched through the ministry that God has blessed him with.
