My name is Charlotte Henson. My husband is a chiropractor, and we live in League City, Texas. We are active members of the Sagemont Church in Houston, Texas. I became a Christian by accepting Jesus at age 8 years and have chosen to serve and live for Him since that time. I was reared under the loving Christ centered influence of my Godly parents. E.C. and Lois Brunson. My father has served as a pastor in several Baptist churches over the past 50 years.
For many years I have felt the strong presence of God's love and leadership in my life. I feel called to serve God in a gospel music ministry. It has been my continuous joy to sing Christian music since my early childhood. I feel Blessed more now than ever as I sing His inspired gospel music. Over the past few years, I have participated in church choirs, ladies ensemble groups, a ladies trio and country gospel bands. Currently I have been singing in nursing home ministries, homeless shelters, drug and alchol rehabilitation centers, prison ministries, banquets, luncheons and church groups as a solist presenting full concerts.
Recently the Lord has inspired me to write a number of gospel songs. Many of these comprise a portion of my first album, "Songs From The Heart". which became available on May 1, 1995. These songs show the love and joy of our precious Saviour by revealing His devine nature and purpose as He expresses Himself to and through His children.
I believe that God is revealing Himself today, more that at any other time, since history of the early church. There are many signs that serve point to His devinity and ultimate return. As Miriam lead the children of Israel to sing in worship and adoration of the Lord, I believe that He wants us to Praise Him in our music today. It is my fervent hope and desire to assist people in the acts of worship, praise and adoration to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords as I sing the songs given me under His inspiration. I pray that those who do not know Him will receive His life changing salvation and that the songs I sing will point them to Him.
