| As I grew up in California country, yes there is still country in California, in a Christian home, my Mom and Dad found out that I had some musical ability at 7 or 8 years old. My Mom played the piano and I started to sing in church. I sang through high school and also played the trumpet in school band. I can relate to the story in the book of Matthew, about being given a talent and then going and burying it, that’s just what I did with my music ability. The Lord got a hold of me later in life about that talent, only about 8 years ago. So I dug up that talent and started using it for the Lord and have been over whelmed at the blessings that have come my way. I have written a dozen songs and will be recording them in the near future. The verse below has a special meaning for me; folks don’t let things of this world bog you down so that you don’t miss out on the talent that God gave you to use! |
